Lou Derricks on doing uncomfortable things, finding mindfulness, intuition and childhood glee.

Have you ever felt you connected with someone effortlessly? Like you have known them forever even though your paths have recently crossed? I am lucky to have crossed paths with this beautiful human, Lou Derricks and felt her kindred spirit in our flowing conversation. On the day we met to record the podcast, we started talking well before the recording started and could have been talking for long after. There was so much to share.

We talked about doing uncomfortable things, mindfulness, finding child glee and intuition, how our identity and ego get in the way, and what is enough, being in your body, being kind to your self. In some ways it felt like a journey of becoming. The never ending journey of love and struggle interwoven!

That childhood glee is alive in Lou’s smile here.

Thank you Lou for sharing so generously!
